A warm welcome to the official Masterclass Driver Training web site

Masterclass driver training was established in 1986 by Chris Mennell  and is based In Kingswinford,  West Midlands, a busy  market town situated between Stourbridge, Dudley and Wolverhampton.

Masterclass has a simple mission statement, “to help people to improve and reach their potential”

All our driving lessons are conducted to suit the individual (as we are all individuals) and are constructed at a rate to maximise the learning process and the transfer of responsibility.

The lesson routes are very carefully planned to the required level of standard and achievement of the individual drivers ability. Tuition is staged at all times to suit the needs and standard.

The instructional style is based on high tempo feedback ‘on the move’ (not long kerbside briefings, drawing pictures, looking a lap tops/palm tops etc)  Learning to drive is a practical subject.

We always endeavour to create a good working environment. There will be constant support and encouragement, we don’t shout or make you cry, we won’t intimidate you or smoke, be suggestive, put on the radio, take calls or make texts, talk about our personal business or leave the vehicle to deal with personal matters. Your paid time is your paid time and will be used to maximum effect.

Monitoring  a drivers progress is essential to the learning process, our student record cards give constant feedback. We are honest and will also explain if things are not going to well.

Our instructors will always be smartly presented (as a professional teacher should be), we don’t wear trainers and jogging bottoms, jeans and football shirts. Interior of vehicles will be clean and tidy.

Lesson prices and our terms of business including driving test applications will be discussed and agreed prior to the commencement of training.
